MORRISON AND MARY WILEY LIBRARY AUTHORITY TO
SPEND POLICY
The Head Librarian of the Morrison and Mary Wiley
Library or a staff member who has been given approval by the Library Director
for purchasing is authorized to spend up to $1,000.00 on any single item
without prior Library Board of Trustees approval.

In case of extreme emergency, the Head Librarian of the
Morrison and Mary Wiley Library may spend an additional $500.00 with the
approval of any two Library Board of Trustee members.
The Morrison and Mary Wiley Library may spend in excess
of $10,000.00 only after completing the formal bid process as described in
Illinois Law.
